BlueStreamFly is operated by Mountain Brook Run LLC. References to BlueStreamFly or BSF mean the website, Field Companion, and related report, contact, analytics, and support operations handled by Mountain Brook Run LLC.

Information the site may collect

BlueStreamFly may collect standard website data such as page views, referring pages, browser type, device type, approximate location, timestamps, and privacy-safe error logs. This helps find broken pages and improve report quality.

Contact messages may include your name, email address, river page URL, source links, and any details you choose to send.

Field Companion app data

You can use the Field Companion without an account. In guest mode, selected waters, private pins, logs, fly-box items, trip prep, and preferences are stored on that device.

If you create an account, BlueStreamFly may process your email, profile and settings, saved waters, private field records, managed media, generalized community contributions, and privacy-safe product or security events so requested sync and account features can work.

Private locations and community sharing

Exact private pin coordinates, access notes, private logs, and private media locations are owner-only account data. Public reports and community posts are limited to a generalized reach or region and must not include exact private spots, marker identifiers, or private access details.

Analytics and hosting

BlueStreamFly may record page paths, source channels, device type, browser family, timestamps, coarse performance data, and sanitized crash or error events. BSF does not intentionally place exact private coordinates, private notes, media paths, or account archives in analytics or monitoring events.

On the public production website, BlueStreamFly uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public pages and a small set of actions, such as report searches, official-source links, app-open links, and successful contact submissions. Google Analytics receives the public page path and limited device, referrer, approximate-region, and action details. BlueStreamFly does not send contact names, email addresses, message text, private notes, exact coordinates, or account records to Google Analytics.

BlueStreamFly does not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can avoid sending personal details in correction messages. Signed-in Field Companion users can request a private account archive and permanently delete their account from the app. Deletion removes the account and its managed active cloud data and clears managed private field data from that device. Archive files previously saved by the user remain under the user's control.
